Subject: Neighbors Helping Neighbors: A Community Initiative
We are excited to announce the launch of our new Neighbors Helping Neighbors program! This initiative is designed to foster community spirit by providing a helping hand to those who may need assistance with tasks around their homes due to physical or financial limitations.
To kick off this program, Chuck Hager will lead the way with a Mailbox Painting Initiative starting this February. If your mailbox could use a fresh coat of paint but you are unable to take care of it yourself due to physical challenges or financial constraints, Chuck will be offering his time and materials every Saturday morning in February. There is no cost for his service—it’s our way of building connections and enhancing the beauty of our community.
If you’d like to take advantage of this opportunity while supplies last, please contact Chuck to schedule:

Ancient Oaks - Exciting Community Update: Food Truck Pilot Program
Dear Homeowners,
While we are hard at work on improvement activities for the community such as landscaping, security, and lakes, we are also pleased to announce that the Ancient Oaks Board of Directors is launching an exciting Food Truck Pilot Program to bring a new dining experience to our community!
As part of this pilot, a variety of food truck options will be invited to serve our neighborhood on a regular basis. This program aims to provide a convenient and fun food option for residents to enjoy and gather as a community.
The Board has carefully completed all necessary legal protections to minimize risk and ensure the safety and well-being of our community. Additionally, we are in the process of establishing a small volunteer committee to assist in coordinating and managing the program. More details about how to get involved and contribute to the success of this initiative will be shared soon.
Throughout the pilot phase, we will closely monitor participation and feedback to assess the level of community adoption:
We believe this initiative can be a wonderful addition to our neighborhood and look forward to seeing many of you enjoying this new offering.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in making Ancient Oaks a vibrant and welcoming community.
Warm regards,
The Ancient Oaks Board of Directors

In the Know about No Mow Zones “No Mow Zones” are small, manicured, 2-to-3-foot-wide strips around each of our ponds/lakes. The existing turf in the no-mow zone will be allowed to grow to a height of no more than 10-15 inches. This will allow deeper root development to help hold the banks and battle erosion. This taller turf will also act as a physical barrier to pollutants. All stormwater ponds (our lakes) should have these buffer zones. For a better understanding of No Mow Zones, please visit this very informative article at: Buffer Zones for Stormwater Ponds Factsheet (ufl.edu)
We love our furry family!!!
As we soak up the sunshine and enjoy our beautiful neighborhood, let’s take a moment to celebrate our furry family members! 🐶❤️ We all love our pets, and that’s why we must remember our shared responsibility: picking up after them during walks!
A friendly reminder: Please make sure to bring those handy doggie bags along on your walks and clean up after your pups! Keeping our community clean not only ensures a pleasant environment for everyone, but it also sets a wonderful example for our little ones (both human and furry)!
The team is working hard to review and sign off on your modification requests. Please help us help you by submitting the request timely. The ARC committee normally requires 30day lead time on new requests to process. While exceptions do exist, please help us meet our timelines by getting the request in early to us.
Have questions or comments? We'd love to hear from you! Contact us today and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
